LONDON, Sept, 10. Mr. John Redmond, speaking at Waterford, prior t 0 sailing for Now York, slid that unless the Government fulfilled their pledges they would speedily find that Ireland was ungovernable. Compulsory powers wore absolutely necessary to secure a complete settlement of tlio landl question. but unless Irishmen relinquished personalities and concentrated all their energies in an united effort toward reform their demands would not be. conceded. Scones like tnult ab Newcastle West were a discredit .and a disgrace, and sooner than again participate in internecine strife he would quit Irish politics altogether. He added that the only human ugenev capable of seriously delaying the realisation of their hopes for Home Rule was dissension amongst themselves.
