Messrs Richardson and Co.'s Fanny is due to arrive from Napier this morning with a general cargo. The tr.S.S. Co..’s Monna will not leave Napier until 11 o’clock to-mor-row morning, and is duo to arrive here in the afternoon. She leaves again for Auckland ip the evening. The U.S.S. Co.’s Monowai returns from Auckland on Sunday afternoon, and continues her voyage South in the evening. Outward passengers leave the wharf at's p.m. (mean, time). Tho tJ.S.S. Co.’s llakanoa, from Newcastle, was due to leave Auckland yesterday for Napier direct, and will come back to Gisborne to discharge the balance of her cargo early next week.
The U.S.S. Co.’s Wanalta is expected to arrive here on Monday from South on her wav to Auckland. Captain Stevens has transferred from the s.s. Wanaka to the s.s. Tn'.une, and Captain Gregory has taken charge of the former vessel.
Sixty-eight days have now elapsed since the Howard Smith liner Aeon sailed from San Francisco for Apia (Samoa), Auckland, and Sydney, and no tidings of her have vet been received. "All vessels bound from San Francisco to Australia have been requested t 0 keep a look-out for tho missing vessel. The Aeon has on hoard a largo consignment of preserved meats and a number of bags of mails for the American fleet.
