No. 2 ground was granted for a match between Carters and Butchers on Thursday, 24th iust., at 3 p.m. The secretary of the Hawke s Bay Rugby Union wrote regretting inability to fix dates for the junior representative match.—Received. Some discussion took place regarding the question of tlio postponement of the recent cup fixture between Tologa Bay and Tokomaru. —It was resolved that-the facts of the case, as outlined by the secretary, be forwarded to tlie-AVaiapu sub-Union, with a request that they he forwarded to the Tologa Bay Club. . . The question of the Union obtaining possession of. the Junior Banner from tho West End Club was loft in the hands of the club’s delegates. Messrs Johnston and Bright, who had been appointed the sub-commit-tee to draw up the new rules for the Union, presented a draft of.the proposed rules.—After hearing them read it, was decided on the motion of Mr. Wauchop, that the draft rules as read he confirmed by the committee, submitted to the Registrar of Friend-ly-Societies, ■ and later ho put before special meetings of the Union for confirmation and adoption.
