It is a strong illustration of ‘man’s inhumanity to man, and shows how crafty cunning, designing in a hasty hunger for money, can set at naught the feelings wild sufferings of their fellowmen, no matter ''hat sacrifice may be involved in their machinations. The circumstances of this case show us humanity in one ot its worst forms. The whole .atmosphere of the institution reeks with wickedness, and it .is only men with callous dispositions pud with hearts of stone, steeled, perhaps, by a hunger for money, who can "trade upon the credulity "of their fellowmen as the proprietors of this institution preyed upon, their ifellowinen.”
