A VALUABLE TABLE. (Special to “Times.”) WELLINGTON, Sept. 23. There was presented to Parliament vestorday >x very valuable historical table of the legislation of New Zealand by tho Legislative Council of New Zealand, tho Legislative Council of New Munster, and the General Assembly of Now Zealand, showing tho disposition of every public Act, whether' previously repealed or not repealed or repealed and re-enacted by tho consolidating statutes. An enormous amount of careful work must juvvo been involved in tho preparation of this tablo, which will onablo those administering or studying the law of the Dominion to find out m what part of tho consolidated amendments out of former Acts arc embodied. For instance, tho Einancial Arrangement Act of 1876 is now sproad ovor tho Gold Duty Act, tho Pawnbrokers’ Act, the Dog Registration Act, tho Explosive and Dangerous Goods Act, tho Municipal Corporations Act, otc.
