Adelaide September wheat' sold at 395; 12,000 quarters of Adelaide or -Victoria December to January wheat 37s 6d. , , The Antwerp wool sales have opened. There was a good attendance. Prices for merinos are unchanged and firm. Crossbreds generally are dearer. Out of 2710 bales of La Plata offered, 419 were sold.

AUCKLAND, Sept. 25. _ Yesterday the quantity of butter m store for export for the fortnigli. was 67 tons. In the corresponding period last year, the quantity was 50 tons. Fifteen thousand boxes are to lie shipped by tho .s.s. lonic to-morrow, and 500 hundred boxes are to bn shipped lo South Africa on Alomlay.

Messrs Dalgcty and Go., Ltd.. ImJd a .sale of dairy cows on behalf of Mr. p O’Sullivan at Mangapapa yesterday. There was a fair attendance of ■buyers,, and competition was slow. Cows near calving sold .it from £6 to £7 15s, those backward were passed in.
