HOLIDAY NOTICE
DOMINION DAY, SEPT. 20, 1908. Dominion Day, Saturday, September 26th, 1908, will be observed by the Post and Telegraph Offices as a holiday. The following hours will be observed at the Chief Post Office, Gisborne: Post Office—9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Mails usually despatched on Saturday morning will bo closed at 7.30 p.m. on Friday. Supplementary mails will be made up at 9 a.m. on Saturday. On Friday, the 25th September, the Post Office will be open from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. for delivery of correspondence only. Letter carriers’ delivery from private box wicket from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.. A morning delivpry by letter carriers will be made on Dominion Day. Telegraph Office —£ a.m. to 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tolephono Exchange—7 a.m. to If p.m. as usual.
