DUNEDIN, Sept. 27. Mr. A. AV. Tyndall, a candidate for Bruce, in, tho Liberal interests, addressed the electors at Lawrence on Friday evening, 110 reviewed tho principal questions of tho day, and generally supported the policy of the Government. AAMtli reference to the birth-rate, he advocated a bonus to the mother of every healthy legitimate child, payable when the child received a school certificate of competency. Tho candidate was accorded a vote of tlmn'ks.
