The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall arrived from Tologa Bay and Auckland yesterday morning with a large general cargo, including transhipments ex s.s. Kia Ora. She returned again to Auckland direct last night. Messrs Richardson and Co.’s Fanny lias been delayed in Napier and will leave there this evening for Gisborne with general cargo. The 11.5.5. Co’s Haupiri is due to arrive this morning from Napier and snds in tho afternoon for Coast ports and Auckland. Outward passengers leave the wharf at noon. The U.S.S. Co.’s Talu-nd arrives from South to-morrow morning, and sails liter for Auckland. Tho U.S.S. Co.’s Moana is due tomorrow afternoon from Auckland and Sydney, and sails South in the evening. The auxiliary echooner K-a.eo arrived from Coast- ports and Auckland yesterday about 3 p.m., and came up to tho wharf about 5 p.m. Captain Skinner reports as follows on tho trip: Sailed from Auckland on September 18th, at 9 a.m., and arrived at Omaio on Saturday, at 2 p.m. Landed there and Little Awanui the same day. On Sunday landed at Tekaha, Maraehaka, Raukokore, and -arrived 'oreti. Monday landed Oreti, Whangaparaoa, Okotikirua, Hick’s Bay by evening, and lay at Hick’s Bay -all night. On Tuesday at daylight left for Te Araroa, but owing to westerly gale had to pass, arriving at Port Awanui at 8 a.m. Very heavy north-west wind, increasing to gale, and landed up to 11 a.m., but owing to sea and wind could not land any more until Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. Finished Awanui and came on to Tuparoa, leaving same evening for Waiipiro, arriving 7 p.m. on Thursday. Handed at Waipiro at daylight on Friday, and sailed for Tolcomaru, finishing there by ’noon. Came on to Ka.iau, landed two rafts, and came on to Tologa Bay, and anchored for the night. On Saturday morning launches came up and took cargo, then Kae<> returned to Kaiaua landing timber and cargo all day Sunday. Finished Kaiaua by noon, and came on to Pakarae and arrived there C p.m. on Monday. Landed timber and cargo, and loft for Gisborne 11 a.m., arriving 1 p.na., -and came aip the river at 5 p.m. Fine weather was experienced all through the trip except Tuesday last, when a heavy north-west gale blew all day. Passenger: Mr. T. Yoe. Cargo: About 60 tons for Gisborne. SY TELEGRAPH. SYDNEY, Sept. 28. Arrived—Canterbury, from Hokianga. Sailed—Cruiser Pioneer, for Lyttelton.
