DRUNKENNESS

Harry Hayden, alais Harry Vivian, pleaded' guilty to a charge of being drunk at Gisborne on Monday afternoon. .... ALLEGED BURGLARY

Edward Boniface, a young mail, was Charged that he did, on or about Aray 7th 1908, break into and enter tlie store of Alessrs Teat and Friar, at Ormond, and steal therefrom cigarettes to the value of 10s and 2s in coppers. , Sergeant Hutton said that as accused was only arrested on Alonday he would ask for a remand for eight days. The accused offered no objection and the application was granted. Bail was allowed, the accused in £IOO, and in two sureties of £SO each.

ALAINTENANCE.

A laborer, named Alfred Janies Weston, was proceeded against by his wife, Fanny Alatikla AVeston, to' provide for support for herself and five children. As AVeston is at present in custody a remand until December next was granted.
