FAT LAMBS.

EXPERIMENT BA T THE AIANAGEE OF THE NORTH BRITISH AND lIAAVKE’S BAY RUIvETARU STATION. AVitli a view to ascertaining tlie truth or otherwise of certain statements made re the profits to bo derived from dipping lambs in Quibell’s Noil-poisonous Liquid Dip prior to putting them on rape, the following report from Air. Al. A. McLeod, manager of the North British and Hawke’s Bay Rukebapu Station, will be read with interest by shtep-owners generally—i.e. : —“To Alessrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Napier, 11.8. —Dear Sirs, —Having heard a groat deal about the benefits to bo derived by dipping lambs before nutting them on rape in Quibell’s Non-poisonous Dip, I resolved to prove tlie assertion made for myself. I accordingly selected a flock of lambs of uniform quality, and run off one-lialf the number. which I dipped in Quibell’s Liquid as directed; the fttHicr half I left undipped. At the end of a month both lots wore, sent to the. freezing works and killed; the undipped lot averaged 311 b each, and those dipped, as before stated, 341 b each. In my opinion the results far more than justify any claims made for the clip in this direction. —(Signed) AI. A. McLeod.” Tlie gain on the dipped as compared with the undipped thus shows a profit of something like 1500 per centon tho cost of dipping, mcluding > labor, material, etc., a gain, surely, not to bo despised„ in these clays of low prices for wool,-etc. _ Dip your lambs in Quibell s I luid (non-poisonous), and you can count on 1500 per cent profit on the operation as an absolute certainty.
