THE BURNS-SQUIR-ES BATTLE.
Tlie staff of operators (says the “Sydney Daily Telegraph”) employed by Messrs MacMahon and Carroll, who, by -arrangement with Mr. Edwin Geach, obtained the sole rights of making the cinematograph record of this great event, succeeded beyond the most sanguine expectations in securing a marvellously realistic reproduction. The weather was all that could lie desired, the condition of the atmosphere -being perfect, -and each succeeding round, from hand-shako to knock-out, stands out in all its exciting detail with startling fidelity. The preliminary pictures, such as the arrival of the special cars and tho movements of tho vast crowds thronging the Stadium from every direction, are also full of interest.” Tho Gisborne season of- this magnificent film commences next Wednesday night. Tho box illm is now open -at Miller’s, and as it is anticipated there will be a heavy demand for seats, tlie management requests that patrons book early so that extra rows may he arranged to suit, -requirements.
