A groat amount of interest is being manifested in the youths’ dingey race which it is proposed to hold oil Thursday, tho opening day of tho season. Owing to the largo number of entries received, it has been decided by tho committee to make tho event a handicap. GISBORNE CLUB. The committee of the Gisborne Club has decided that boforo holding any for /the benefit of now members. An experienced stroke will bo selected, races, coaching crews will ho formed, and sent out with three new members and a competent conch. By means of this arrangement, it is hoped that hotter rowing will result, and also that less damage will ho done to the club’s boats.
