[To the Editor.] . Sir,—l consider it was very unfair on the part of tlic'polico to take the man George Pearson info the Court in a drunken state. If found in that condition lie should have been run in to the lock-up until sober. I hen there would have been no occasion torfining a man twice for the same old drunk.—l am, etc., ’ “TEMPERANCE.”
