The Westport Coil Co.’s Regains, which arrived in the Bay on Monday night, cam© alongside tho wharf on the full tide yesterday morning. She had a good passage’from her loading port, southerly winds being experienced. -Tho Regains brought 150 tons of coal, and discharging oper itions were at- once commenced. At .6 o’clock last night she was warped over to the Ivaiti wharf to discharge the balance of her coal in the Harbor Board’s bin. md she sailed again for Westport at 9 p.m. _ Messrs Richardcon and Co. s Fannyarrived from Napier yesterday morning with a large cargo, including sleepers for the Railway Dep irtir.ent, and machinery for Messrs Nelson Bros. Yesterday was a busy day , whiff, four vessels discharging simultaneously. Coal wa s being discharged from the s.s. Regulus, the barouontino Pelotas, and the scow- Alert, while the s.s. Fanny was unloading her general cargo. There was practically no congestion on the wharf, however, as by means of carts- and trucks the cargo was removed as fast as it was discharged. 8Y TELEGRAPH.
