NAPIER, Oct. 15. The second day of tho Napier Park llaoing Club’s spring meeting to-day was favored wit'li beautiful weatuier and a largo attendance. Tho fields wore small, hut some of tho finishes were extremely close and exciting. The sum of £6057 was invested in the totalisator, making a total for the two days of £12,789, as compared, with £17,048 last year. A great finish botweon the three resulted in a win by a short head, with the same distance between second and third.
