Coptiuctit (Received October 18, 6.10 p.m.) CAULFIELD, Oct. 17. Luck was with the 'Gaulheld Racing Club for the last day of the V.A.T.C. meeting. Heavy auin fell all night, with a south .wind, but it cleared before midday. A large crowd-atten-ded; the ladies wearing spring costumes, and the stand iwas crowded. Intcr-iState visitors exceeded their usual number, but 'Sir T. D. Carmichael wus t-lie only vice-regal representative, though Lord Dudley’s staff attended.

Past the judge s -box lolaire, Conge, True 'Scot L-ady Wilde, 3lother Goose, and Pmk_ Un were together. loil-aire led- out of the straight, and at the far turn Mother Goose and lolaire were three lengths from Destinist, Post Town, Maranui, Enchanted States, and Conge. lolaire led into 1-he straight from Jack -Smith, Post Town, and Maranui.
