AN UNFORTUNATE STRIKE. 400,000 EMPLOYEES IDLE. United Press Association, Copyright (Received Oct.- 18, 5.30 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 18. The “Daily Mail” states that cotton strike has idled -400,000 employees, and has caused .a loss of £3,500,000.
