LONDON, Oct. 16. The death is announced of Father Ignatius, aged 71.

[The Rev. Joseph Leycester Lyno, 0.5.8., better known as Father Ignatius, was ordained in tlie„ Church of England in 1860, and founded Llanthony Abbey in 1870. His.mission preaching attracted large crowds, but of late he refused to preach in the churches owing to tlie '.‘rationalism” xiermitted by the bishops.
