AVEST’S PICTURES

Tlio box plans for the Gisborne season of West’s Pictures are now on view at Alillor’s._ Previous visits of this combination to " the Dominion have been very successful, and as the public are promised programmes equal in every respect to those produced on previous visits, the same measure of success may safely be -anticipated on the present occasion. Air. AVest has made arrangements for continuous supplies of tho v very latest pictures, and will during the season produco a large number of his recent purchases made in. England and the Continent. v KAITI SCHOOL CONCERT. A very enjoyable concert, organised by Aliss Faubert .and Air. J/H. Bull, of the Kaiti School, was held in tlio large schoolroom at the Kaiti School last evening. The concert, which was in aid of the school funds, drew a very large attendance and, judging by the hearty applause which was accorded i lie various items, yas highly appreciated. The following programme was given, revoral of the contributors having to respond t 0 encores: —Gisborne Club Ori liostra, “The Sultan’s Dream” and “Orchid” ; song, Air.
