MOROCCO, Oct. 23

Owing to a taunt that the Sudan’s troops were unpaid, 400 men in the garrison at Mogadore attacked 200 European trained police. The firing continued for an hour. Several were killed or wounded before tlie firing was quelled under a French threat.

Subsequently the members of the garrison were shipped to Tangier.
