AVEST’S PICTURES

Of late years animated -photography has reached a very high standard. Mr. AYcst not only submits the best pictures obtainable, but, also reproduces them in a manner only possible to a trained expert. On a previous visit- to Gisborne Air. V\ estsubmitted first-class programmes, and promises, during his season commencing to-night- in His Majesty’s Theatre, to fully maintain the high-class standard of' his entertainments. The programme to be presented to-night-will embrace some of the latest- and best- cinema togra ms, including amongst many others, “The AVonderful Lantern,”' “Meddlesome Buttons,” “The Tragedy of the Mill,” “The Runaway Horse,” “Scones in Morocco.” “Our Farmyard Friends,” "In Cupid’s Realm,” '“The Vanquished ,’‘Scenes in China,” “Beware of the Bull,” and a host of other dramatic, scenic, and humorous subjects. A full orchestra will supply incidental overtures and appropriate musical accompaniments. The light u«od vitl-diave the intensity of over GOOD candle-power, and is supplied bv a powerful and reliable- electric plant which the company take with them. During the season there will b> frequent changes of programme, when the change will be complete, and no picture previously shown will be repeated unless by special request.
