CORRESPONDENCE.
[Correspondence on public matters is welcomed at all times, but it must be distinctly understood that tlffa journal is in no way associated with the opinions of its correspondents.]
[To the Editor.] Sir, —Allow me through your valuable paper to state that candidates, iecturing throughout the country tricts have not put in an appearance at Kaitaratahi, although there is a good hall, and about fifty to sixty people located thereabouts, who would bo nleased to hear their views; there is nothing like hearing them yourself instead of reading the sayings in the papers. Many of the ladies cannot "■et away from their homes as most of them have young families. Many a Minister has owed his success at the polls to the small few he visited. The first who makes his appearance on the field will be sure to receive a cordW welcome. -X „ -
