O'NEILL'S BUCK JUMBERS. After an absence of twelve months, Mr. Ernie O'Neill reappeared before a Gisborne audience last evening with his entertainting combination of buckjumpers and circus. The large crowd which filled the tent wore entertained with two hours of as healthy enjoyment as could be desired. The oiler of £T to anyone tv ho could ride any of the buckjranpers for one minute found two acceptors in J. Morris and W- 'Williams, two noted local riders. Though they put up a plucky and clever fight for the money the'buckjumpers unseated both. Little Sandovv is certainly one or the cleverest trick ponies ever seen iu Gisborne, and he performed a number of wonderful 1 eats at the binning of his owner and breeder. Mr Ernie O'Neill. Mr. O’Neill and “Curly Joey." ‘otto oi his hoys, gave a splendid exhibition of rough riding, and were loudly cheered for the clever manner in which they stuck to a couple of desperate "outlaws.” The high-jumping horses put up a very fine performance. "Jerry.” the playful, bucking calf, convulsed the audience by the nonchalant manner in which he unseated the many youngsters who essayed to ride him.
