CRICKET ASSOCIATION

At the weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the Poverty Bay Cricket Association last evening, it was resolved l to ask all players willing to take part in the all-day match-against the Waingake Club at Victoria Domain on Saturday next to forward their names to tlie hon. secretary/ P.O. Box 118, by Thursday ;next. (Permission was granted to the Wanderers Club to play a practice match against allcomers at Victoria Domain on Thursday next. The ground committee were empowered to have the grass on the whole of the outfieM at Victoria Domain cut by a horse-mower. It was resolved to request the United Club to furnish an explanation why they played an unregistered player in their match against Te Rau on Thursday last.
