Parapara iron deposits were involved in the case, J, H.' Witheford, exM.P. of Auckland v. The Public trustee, as executor in the estate of tho late -Hon. A. J. Cadmau and others, mentioned in. chambers at Wellington last week before Mr Justice Cooper. Tho claim is f0r'£49.500 for aii alleged broach of contract in rciation to tho Parapara iron deposits, •Nelson. Mr Treadwell, on behalf of the defendant, asked for security for costs on the ground that Witheford was resident out of the Dominion, ihe application was opposed by Mr ad i° uril ed tho matter until 28th November, to permit of further affidavits filed, P
