MR. A. S. ALDRICH

WELLINGTON, Oct. 29
The death is reported of Mr. A. S. Aldrich, Japanese Consul for New Zealand, at his home at Paraparauimi. He had been tailing for some time, and quite recently disposed of his farm at Paraparaumu, intending to take a- trip to England. About a week ago he was attacked with a paralytic stroke, which ended fatally yesterday. •
