The ketch Coronation leaves this morning for Tologa Bay and Wliitianga. 'Hie folio wing are the shipments from this port by the N.Z. S.S. Co.’s llakaia :—Bennett and Sherratt, 650 bales aaooI; N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Co., Ltd., 560 bales avool ; Bank of New Zealand, 487 bales avool, and 30 casks tallow; DaJgety and Co., 236 bales avool, and 2 bags rags; Murray, Roberts and Co., 18 bales avool ; "Williams and Kettle, Ltd., S 3 bales ayco!. The Ra'kaia leaves Wellington for London on the 21st.
a The U.S.S. Co-.’s 1 Flora having been detained in Wellington, it lias hoav been arranged that she Avill leave there to-day for the Coast direct, Avhere she loads 2000 bales of avool for transhipment to the Tyser liner NiAvaru at Napier. The Tyser liner Niwaru is due at the end of the Aveek. and the Shaw, SaA r ill Co.’s Corinthic about the 21st inst., both to load for Home. The auxiliary schooner Kaeo sails to-day for Coast ports and Auckland. The 11.5.5. Co.’s Wanaka is at present on her Avay north from the Bluff to Auckland, calling in at Oaniaru, Timaru, Napier, and this port en roittc.
The Huddart-Parker C'o.’s Victoria is due from South to-morroAV morning, and to sail later for Auckland ami Sydney. The U.S.S. Co.’s TaraAvera returns from Auckland on Sunday afternoon, and sails South again in the evening. The Dunedin correspondent of the “Lyttelton Times” states that an order for a new steamer for the carrying trade has been placed by the Union Steamship Company Avith Doxford .and Sons, Sunderland. Like the Waitemata, 'she -will be fitted Avith all the latest machinery for tile handling of cargo, but Avili not be quite so big as that steamer. Her tonnage will be 4000 register, and her dimensions—length 31oft, breadth depth 23ft.
