TRAVELLERS’ TROUBLES

WELLINGTON, Nov. 13.. Tho volume of traffic on tlie. Main Trunk line, so far. lias been very satisfactory; but the -accommodation at the stop-over places is poor, and is leading to complaints. There are also complaints about through passengers from the north having to change tin ins at Marion. They say it is not fair that they should have to skirmish for seats in the Wellington train on arrival at the junction, especially after they have already had a. fatiguing journey. The Ohakune accommodation is said to have been insufficient for requirements* It is anticipated that the will be 'running somewhat 4 ' earlier than was expected ; and then most of the troubles that travellers labor under will be at on end. The through journey will take about nineteen hours.
