The Wallabies (one goal two tries) defeated Cambridge University (one goal, one dropped goal). The only score-in tlie first half was a try by Aloran, which was not converted. Carroll and Dix secured tries early in the second half, Carmichael converting the first. Then Wright scored a try for Cambridge, and the same plavor added a dropped goal in the last minute of play. The Cambridge forwards were brilliant, and frequently nearly scored, but their backs were unequal to the Wallabies’. Warrington beat the Australian League team by two goals two tries to a try.
