VESSELS IN PORT.
Haere, scow
The Hudclart-Parker Co.’s Victoria arrived from South on Saturday morning and sailed for Auckland and Sydney later. The ketch Coronation left port for Tologa Bay and Whitianga on Saturday afternoon, but owing to the north-east wind blowing outside was unable to make headway, and returned to the .Bay. She left- again with a favorable breeze shortly after midday yesterday. The auxiliary schooner Kaeo sailed on Saturday night at 9 o’clock for Ccast ports and Auckland, with a very heavy cargo. The U.S.S. Co.’s Tarawera arrived from Auckland about noon yesterday, and continued .her southern trip in the evening. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall arrives early this morning from Tologa Bay and Auckland with general cargo, and returns to Auckland direct at night. The Maoriland S.S. Co.’s Torgauten is due shortly from Greymouth with a cargo of timber.
The U.S.S. Co.’s Wanaka is due to leave Napier to-day for Gisborne and Auckland.
The U.S.S. Co.’s Flora left Wellington on (Saturday for East Coast ports to load 2000 .bales of wool for transhipment to the Tyser liner Niwaru at' either this port or Napier. If she tranships at Napier she will return ‘here, at the end el' the week to resume the regular run to Coast ports and Auckland. Captain McBride and- the other officers of the Haupiri have transferred to the Flora.
