Mr. Winston Churchill invites the Manchester societies of employers and employed to meet the Board of Trade with a- view to supplementing the Brookland agreement by methods 'for ascertaining the actual state of trade, and the establishment of a conciliation scheme in order to prevent disputes in the cotton trade. If a scheme is devised it will be submitted for the approval of the different organisations concerned.
