ROWING.
In the heats for the President’s Cup rowed by crews of the Gisborne Rowing Club last evening, Mr. Johnson’s crew beat Mr. Stevenson’s crew after a good race, -and Mr. C. Haniell’s crew beat Mr. P. C. Bayly’s crew rather easily, as one of the latter had the misfortune to break un oar.
