The recent improvements in milking machines introduced by Mr. Gillies, of Lawrenoe-Ivenuedy fame, are of great importance to the small dairy farmer. The great reduction effected in -the power brings the L.lv.G. machine within the reach of the man with 20 cows, or even less. Many farmers already possess a sniall one or two horse-power steam boiler tor operating their separator, and vine power is ample to work one or even two “L.K.G.” pulsators.
