IN BANKRUPTCY.
AIEETINGS OF CREDITORS
An adjourned meeting of creditors in the insolvent, estate of Joseph Burke, late licensee of the Record Reign Hotel, was held at the office of the Deputy-Official Assignee. (Mr J. Coleman), yesterday. Mr A. W. Rees appeared for the bankrupt, and there were about 10 creditors present.
Mr Coleman said there was a claim in the schedule by Mrs Burke for £l2O. The estate would probably pay the other creditors 20s in the £ and Mrs Burke £IOO for the £l2O. A contingent asset of £4OO had now to be added to the assets as a result of the licensing poll. Mr Ivirk, who appeared for Mr Fletcher, said he would not question Mrs Burke’s claim if the creditors were likely to be paid ill full. Mr Rees said the contingent asset of £4OO would he paid to the official Assignee in a few days. The meeting then adjoiirned.
