RELATIONS SAT IS FACTORY. A REPORT CORRECTED. United Press Association, Copyright (Received Nov. 25, 1.7 a.m.) ’ SYDNEY, Nov. 24. The summarised press report of Mr Jackson’s speech at the Makura luncheon: conveyed a wrong impression as to the relations of the company with the Federal Government. Tho speech expressed the opinion that the position of the Vancouver service was not most satisfactory owing to the absence of reciprocal trade relations between Canada and Australia. As a matter of fact, the relations ol the company and the Commonwealth have always been friendly and cordial, while in the matter of the negotiation with Canada the Federal Government is understood to bo doing the utmost to arrange for a satisfactory contract.
