At the Franco-British Exhibition the following awards were made for preserved meat, fruit, etc.: —-Diploma for gold medal, Cnristehurch Meat Company, Kirkpatrick and Co. : diploma lor silver medal. Gear ISJeat Company , Gisborne Sheep farmers’. Frozen Mieat Company, Wangann/. ]\[eat Freezing Company, Frimley Canuing Company and Hokianga Co-operative Company.
