At the Supreme Court to-day, in divorce, decrees jwere granted as follows :—Emily Brook v. Er r a Brook, desertion; Annie Turner v. Thomas Turner, desertion; Ebon Adams v. Jane Adams, drunkenness. -
DUNEDIN, Nov. 27
At the Supreme Court to-day, William Wa.lquste was sentenced to two year's for robbery from th© person. Alexander Walquste, who was charged with flii-m, was acquitted. John Webster, charged with attempting to murder bis wife, Maria 'Webster, with attempting to do her serious bodily harm, with attempting Jo discharge a- revolver at her, and with assault-ing-her, was 'found guilty on the minor counts, sentence being deferred 1 .
