INVERCARILL, Nov. 29. The body of a newly-born infant was found by a. farm hand on Saturday mbrniug, lying by the side of the main road between W-rcy’s Bush and Win-ton. At an inquest evidence showed positively that the child had breathed, -anil that it had sustained ante-mortem (laceration of the back of the skull and a broken jaw. A verdict. was returned of “Wilful murder by some person, or persons unknown.“
