A TRADES COUNCIL PROPOSAL

WELLINGTON, Dec. 3

The Wellington Trades and Labor Council to-night resolved that tlie Minister of Labor be asked to consider the advisability of accepting quarterly ireports from secretaries of unions as to the state of trade, the class of tradesmen needed, and also those for whom there are no openings. Such reports to be forwarded to the High Commissioner in London for inclusion in the report issued by him to intending immigrants.
