The following is Captain Edwin s forecast to 3 p.m. to-day: —Easterly winds, strong to gale, are probable north of East Cape, Taupo, and Raglan, with a -falling barometer and rain; easterly winds, moderate to strong, elsewhere, with a slowly falling barometer.
