A Press Association telegram states that yesterday m- number of Feilding ratepayers were fined for not having their premises connected with the borough sewerage system. It is a practice of some persons who hook seats at theatrical performances not to reach tho theatre until long after the performance has commenced. The late arrival of some of these at His Majesty’s Theatre last night was as annoying to the management as to the audience., and tho management request that those who have booked seats for this evening’s performance will attend as early as possible, for the curtain will not bo kept waiting, as was done last evening, for their convenience.
