HORSE TRAINER TAKES CARBOLIC ACID.

NAPIER, Dec. 13. Alfred B. Pe tier sen a,ged 3£, a horse trainer, committed suicide at Nurse Bethune’s private hospital, Hastings, this afternoon. He had just returned from Woodvillo 'races. He called a nurse into liis room and told her he had taken carbolic acid. She summoned a doctor, but the man passed away in 'a few minutes.
