A windfall of £224.3, which is, however ,to remain untouched, for five years, has come to the Wellington Technical School Board and the Dunedin Technical School authorities as a legacy from the late Mr. J. Callender, of Dunedin. The estate is in the hands of the Public Trustee, and the bequests will be subsidised by the Government at the rate of 10s in the £ up to £ooo. Inquiries are being made by the Technical School Board as to the exact position of the beneficiaries under the will.
