THE WEATHER.
The following is Captain Edwin’s forecast to 3 p.m. to-day:-—North-erly winds, strong to gale, are probable north of New Plymouth and Napier, and strong easterly winds thence southward, with a falling barometer everywhere; rain is probable in most parts north of Hokitika and Kaikoura.
