CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 16. At the an nil all meeting of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association, the cihampionahips (for 1909 wore awarded to South Canterbury. It was decided not to send a team to Australia to compete for the Australasian championship. The Akaroa regatta lias been postponed till Boxing Day owing to the wet weather.
