A MINIMUM WAGES BILL.
PASSED NEW SOUTH WALES ASSEMBLY.

The Assembly has passed -the Minimum Wage Bill. The minimum for boys and girls is fixed at 4s weekly. The Labor party fought for ss. Mr. Wade argued that it was a piece of experimental legislation, and if experience proved it could be safely done the minimum could be raised.
