Messrs Richardson and tSo.’s Kahn, which arrived on Sunday with general cargo, returned again to Napier last evening via Cape Turnagain, where she will load wool. The Sliaw Savill Co.’s Aotea arrived from Auckland yesterday morning to load frozen meat and wool for the Home markets. She is expected to leave to-night for Napier. The schooner Awanui returned from the Coast yesterday afternoon with a cargo of 320 hales of wool. The Union S.S. Co.’s Squall arrived from Auckland yesterday afternoon with general cargo. She returns again this afternoon. The barquentine Pelotas, which arrived in the Bay from Newcastle on Sunday attempted to come alongside the wharf last evening, hiving lightered some of her cargo in the Bay. When opposite the No. 1 shed she stuck fast m the mud and will have to wait 'for the tide to refloat her. She had a fine trip from her loading port and .experienced chiefly light and variable winds, .and some calm weather. The Union S.S. Co.’s Flora is expected to arrive from Auckland via Coast ports to-morrow, and goes -on to Napier and Wellington. It is possible that the Flora will hold on until the evening to take any passengers who cannot get away by the Manuka. Tlie Maoriland Co.’s Taieri has arrived at Auckland from Newcastle, and is expected to conic on to Gisborne to-day with 200 tons of coal. * The auxiliary schooner Fairburn Jolt Auckland on Friday for Wairoa with a load of timber. The Union Co.’s Manuka leaves Auckland at 10 a.m. to-morrow, .arrives here early Wednseday morning and leaves again shortly after in order to work Napier the same day. She arrives in Wellington oil Thursday night to assist in the passenger traffic for south, and for the holidays. The Tuatea will leave the wharf with outward passengers at 8.30 a.m. The Union Co.’s Waikare arrives from south on Wednesday morning and leaves for Auckland at the usual (hour. The Union S.S. Co.’s Wanaka arrives from south to-morrow morning with general produce, and proceeds to Auckland.
