LONDON, Dec. 22
Mr. T. R. Buchanan, Under-Secre-tary for India, replied in the negative to Mr. C. O'Donnell’s suggestion to collect the opinions of all retired members of the Bengal Civil Service, Maharajahs, Nawabs, and Rajahs of Bengal regarding the partition of that Presidency.
