General Gomoz lias eliminated all of General Castro’s adherents from the Cabinet.
General Castro has ordered in Berlin 50,000 Mausers, and is negotiating with German shipyards for several warships, also with Ivrupps regarding guns. ■ " *

The frustration of a plot to assassinate General Gomez completed President Castro’s downfall. The'.conspirators intended to seize the administration and with the army overawe the population. The prisoners include Castro’s .brother.
A document filed in the High Federal Court proposes to impeach Castro for complicity. His money supplies have been stopped.
THE NEW RULER. A PACIFIC PROCLAMATION. (Received Dec. 23, 10.33 p.m.) CARACAS, Dec. 23. General Gomez issued a proclamation promising a decorous pacific solution of international disputes. • The decree whereof Holland complained has been' revoked.
